Offline lives
Our offline lives center around family, including three wonderful grandchildren, and being active, often by bicycling. We also enjoy paddling canoes and kayaks, gardening, and relaxing inside and outside of our riparian home.
Our vacations include trips to distant bike paths. Other times, we travel to water. We have enjoyed whitewater rafting, boating on lakes and rivers, racing outboard hydroplanes, walking on frozen Lake Webster, hiking along the shores of Lake Michigan, and walking the beaches of the Gulf of Mexico and the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans.
Road trips often include detours to the joining of rivers — like the confluence of the Ohio and Mississippi, or the White and the Wabash, or the Wabash and the Ohio, or the Flatrock and the Driftwood, or the Wabash and Deer Creek — so tom can wade in and plant one foot in each flow. Our home is on White River in Central Indiana.
